Definition
Stomatitis, die durch Herpesviren verursacht wird. Gewöhnlich tritt sie als akute Stomatitis oder Gingivostomatitis auf. Orale Erstmanifestationen eines Herpes simplex kommen hauptsächlich bei Kindern und Adoleszenten vor.
