Syringoma, Disseminated

definition

Benign appendage tumour generally considered to be of eccrine origin. Lesions are usually multiple and appear as small firm, translucent to skin-coloured or yellowish papules, varying in size from 1 to 5 mm. Common locations include the face, neck, and the front of the chest. Syringomas are most likely to appear at adolescence, but they may occur at any age. Females are more often affected than males.
