Mild variant of pemphigus foliaceus, an immunobullous disease characterized by pruritic, burning, or painful dermatitis, small flaccid intraepidermal bullae and erosions. In pemphigus seborrhoicus, the butterfly area of the face, the scalp, upper chest, and back are involved.
